First of all that is not a picture of me...I'm not that good looking. I really can't let anyone know who I am or what I look like. You see I currently work as the Marketing Director for a CPA Network. And if you don't know CPA stands for Cost Per Acquisition. So basically Super Affiliates come to my network and deal with me directly to get a higher payout than what the other affiliates get.
You See They Can Command A Higher Payout Because They Get More Sales! That's just the way the industry works
But for the last few months I have been on a mission
Like all business we have been looking at ways to lower our costs. For us one of our Biggest Costs is our Affiliate commissions. So I have been secretly spying on our top affiliates to see what they do to generate so many sales. Our Goal was to develop an Internal Affiliate Group to generate sales for our own products.
Look at this commission payout for JUST ONE PRODUCT TO ONE AFFILIATE. Just Imagine hundreds of affiliates and hundreds of products. We are talking about real money here.
You can see here that this affiliate created two campaigns for ONE product. In the first one he made $28,138.00 for the month and for the second campaign he made $44,695.00 for the month. You have to remember that both campaigns are for the same product. He just used different ways to market them.
He did it textbook style. He had his control group and created a test group to see if he could do better.
I had to know what he was doing.
So I went to all of the forums where these Gurus and Super Affiliates hang out, I bought the ebooks and course they were selling and went to their conferences.
What I found out BLEW MY MIND!
You see some of these Gurus said in their ebook and courses that they generated sales one way but in reality they did something else. No one would have been able to figure this out....Unless you're the one writing the checks.
I got to see first hand what they did and what work and I also compared this to what they said.
Before I go any Farther, I just want you to know that some of the gurus I investigated did EXACTLY what they said.
But How Do You Separate the Good Advice from the Crap?
Well since I have seen how much money is out there for internet marketing and I know how the Big Players do it. I have decided to DO IT MY SELF. I know some people will think that this unethical or bad business, but if you are not willing to do Competitive Analysis and do what works...Then this is still a hobby for you and feel free to leave right now. Because, unfortunately no matter what I say or do, you won't be able to change your ingrained thought process.
You have to approach this like a business!
Unfortunately I can't just leave my current company just yet, I am still negotiated a final buyout date. That's right I am so excited about this opportunity I am buying my way out of my current contract.
